Utility Vendor Payment Terms

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Texas Utility Help Program is submitting payment to water and wastewater vendors to pay for water and wastewater services, fees, late payment penalties, and to pay the past due amount in the disconnect notice or the amount due at the time water services were disconnected for the customer whose name, address, and account number is specified on the check.

By accepting the payment, Vendor agrees to:

  1. Credit the customer account for the amount set forth on the check
  2. Restore water/wastewater services if disconnected, or
  3. Prevent disconnection of water/wastewater services

TDHCA would appreciate provision of proof of the application of this payment on the referenced account to us via return mail to the address printed on the check.
